About the Author and Webmaster

Named and christened David Andrew Short, I was born in Oldham, United Kingdom, in 1979. I have lived in Oldham essentially my entire life. I first visited the Philippines in April 2000. Since then, I have been visiting the Philippines frequently and I have learned a great deal about the Philippines (hence this website). For me, the Philippines has become quite an influence and an inspiration, even prompting me into political activism and of course, creating this website. I married Camille Sheryl in 2004 and we had our daughter, Arabella in 2005.
